The Healthy Active Promotion of Positive Youngsters Club
About the Happy Club
The Happy Club

Healthy Active Promotion of Positive Youngsters (The Happy Club) was established in April 2007 to reduce the isolation of families in Glasgow who have one or more children affected by disability or Autism and enable the families to have a happy, healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.
The Happy Club is a non profit making organisation run by volunteers.

We understand that not all children feel they belong, may need that extra little bit of support and understanding or need a place where they can be part of the decisions and choices.

We want our club to be meaningful.

Our evening sessions offer a range of activities for our members in a non-judgemental and
supportive atmosphere. We ensure the services and facilities are accessible to all. Young members can access sports and / or arts activities with qualified tutors, whilst their parents enjoy a period of respite and empathic support. Training or information sessions as appropriate, improving the capacity of individuals as well as the organisation itself.

We aim to promote disability/autism, improve health and wellbeing by providing services to meet the needs of our members.

We aim primarily to provide activities for children registered at school 4 1/2 - 19 years.
Siblings or other members of the family are most welcome!.

We are open 50 weeks of the year.

The best way to predict the future is to create it..........
